2002 Mustang with 150k miles on it.

I've had my '96 since early 2000. Bought it at 61k miles.. it now has well over 150k miles. Well, my odo broke at 100k years ago, but I added those miles up. If you take care of your ride well, it will last a long time. The most important thing you can do is change the oil every 3 months or so. I have done every one except ..one.. of my oil changes, all maintanance and every little repair. I have driven it rough at times, but I always take extra care for those rough times.

Just know that once your over 120k miles, the maintanance starts adding up. Near 150k miles.. expect a few "old" or worn parts to break. At this age, front springs aren't anywhere as stiff as they were at 60k miles. Oil seals will be leaking probably..but that's no big deal. The engines are built pretty well. The only thing I"m looking at right now is a small outer head gasket leak around where the heads seat at the intake manifold. But, that's being a pretty good gasket for lasting 100k miles nearly.
