Hello everyone,
I'm here to ask a question for my friend with a 2003 GT. Today his A/C quit blowing air no matter hot, cold, max, etc. You can here the compressor turning on and there is condensation on the evaporator. I was told by someone who is big on mustangs to check the vacuum line along the firewall to see if it had come unplugged, so I did so and it looked good up to the point where it went into the firewall. I took the car for a drive and found that cold air was seeping out of the vents (on MAX and cold). Since he does not have an owners manual and the Haynes does not have the fuse panel we did not know for sure which fuse the a/c was, so I pulled all the fuses that were 15 and 20's and all looked good. Does the vacuum line attach to the knobs in the car? Anyone know where I can find a layout for the fuse panel?
Any suggestions are appreciated
Thanks
Dan

So your saying that the a/c is not working?

Does the fan blow any air? because the fan should blow air regardless of whether or not the a/c is on unless the fuse is blown or the fan broken.

Sorry I did not make it clear. THe blower is not putting any air out. The a/c system appears to be working just nothing pushing that cold air into the car.

I sounds almost like the main vent is closed or the blower fan is not working? I'm not sure if it is controlled electrically or by vac. pressure.

Sounds like the blower motor isn't spinning.

COuld be a few things...

fuse
blower motor itself
HVAC controls

I do not have a manual myself so i can't tell you what fuse to check.
