Just bought super clean / low miles 2003 Mach 1 .....& was wondering if I would notice a difference with a Hurst short throw shifter & some nice leather Recorrow style seats ?
A short throw shifter will make a huge improvement - Hurst is good, but there's also the Steeda Tri-Ax, Pro 5.0, and most people love (but I've never had one) the MGW shifter. Good seats can be pricy (I like the Cobra brand myself, but they are really expensive)...I'm not too impressed with the Recarro seats - I found them to be very stiff and the materials weren't as durable as OEM materials. The OEM Mach 1 seats are pretty nice themselves.
Get a set of 4.10s and exhaust and you'll be a happy driver. Enjoy!
