August 19th , 2004 - Cars, Cafes & Concert Downtown Albany, Or. 5:00pm to ? Best of show awards.

August 20th, 2004 – G.I.Joe’s Car Show and Cruz GI Joes parking lot Albany, Or. 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Award, food, raffles, and more. After 8:00pm Cruz through downtown Albany.

------ Main Event Day - Saturday August 21, 2004!!!!! ---------------

Aug 21st , 2004 – The Albany Traffic Jam Downtown Albany 2nd and Washington. Peoples choice awards. 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Aug 21st , 2004 GI Joe’s $10,000 Championship Summer Series. 5:00pm to ??? Awards for 30 classes and top 5 cars get a shot at the $10,000 show.

Patrick are these shows pretty big? Sounds like Albany has a lot going on that weekend.

The two worth going to are on Saturday the 21st. During the day in Downtown Albany you can hang out at Wyatts Brew pub during the show.

Saturday night is the chance to go to The Summer series challenge. It will be a long day, but worth it.

Sunday the 22nd is the Ford Fever Classic at Woodburn Dragstrip too.

I may check out the other days and may enter, but I would not travel very far to be worth it.
