Yes that will work. I used new fox body springs from NAPA in the front, and just left my stock rear springs in and cut half a coil off of them. I also added some Strange 10 way adjustable shocks. It will lower your car some and make it transfer weight much better. I have not been back to the yet to see how it launches (but I'm planning on going on saturday) but, I will say, It launches much better on the street. transfers weight very well.
