ok i haven't been here on the forums for sometime now. but i have a 2004 mustang gt 40th anniversary model and i need some help with starting mods.

i'm thinking a jlt CAI. i already have flowmaster 40 series on it and i know i need to change the mid pipe.

i know i really want a kennebell supercharger i've been eyeing it for a while now and i'm bout to come up on 8000 dollars so what do u guys think. i also have my rims that i have yet to put on yet. they are 18x9 front and 18x10 deep dish in the back. black with a chrome lip

Sounds like you're off to a good start. Is the car lowered? Have you considered suspension mods? A shifter is definitely a must if it's a 5-speed. Gears are a good gain for the money. I have 3.73s and I'm more than happy. Throttle body and plenum...Subframe connectors...And I would ditch the Flowmasters but that's my opinion. I kinda got sick of that sound and they aren't the greatest of mufflers out there. Had em on my '95.

I agree with Sonic04GT. I had a 95 GT, now I have an 04 GT. Flowmasters suck, spend a little bit of money and get some other type of mufflers/ cat back and an h or x pipe.

I have a CAI, plenum, TB, H pipe, cat back, 3.73 gears, alum drive shaft, alum flywheel, stage 2 clutch, dyno tune, sub frame connectors, lowered, rims, and cobra front brakes.

Id say pick up a supercharger if you can. But if you cant or dont want to, try some of the other stuff I have listed. It all helps out, but hands down Id say atleast do your brakes and gears. IMO

Is your car a stick or auto?
How many miles?
Daily driver?

Good luck with what ever you decide.

its an auto and i just recently rolled the mileage over to 90'000 miles. i had an extended warranty that just ended at like 76000 miles andi stupidly didn't put any money aside so when it was up i could start work. well its income tax time and i have 8000 dollars to blow.

y do u think flowmasters suck. i love my flowmasters they r loud and have that bass. what would u reccommend. andwhat type of h pipe. i hear h pipe is a better more bass sound.

i want to drop it a bit once i get my rims on. i see most people with an auto go with 4.10 gears. i'm thinking jlt cai or should i just stick with traditional K n N cai.

i really want that kb superchager thought i've been eyeing it forever
