How about the 2004 Production Numbers and breakdown on the Saleens ?
Anyone else have one out there ? Tell us what you have and what you have done to it . Maybe a Pic ?

Not sure on the actual "final numbers", but I'm guessing that Saleen is about done making 2004 cars at this point, and is gearing up 2005 production.

A month ago they had cars #300ish-#350ish sitting in the back production area waiting to be bought/shipped to the dealerships.

Give it a month, then contact Liz for your LOA.

2004 Saleen S-281 S/C Coupe, Torch Red, S/N 091. I traded my 2001 Mineral Gray S/C Convertible for it.

Chrome Wheel Upgrade
18x10 Rear Wheel Upgrade/Pirellli Rosso's
13" Front Brake Upgrade
*Fiberglass Heat-Extractor Hood
*Saleen Leather Interior
*Extreme (S351) Rear Wing
*Extreme (S351) Center Exit Exhaust

* In past years these were upgrade items, but were listed as standard for the S281 according to the window sticker. Purchased with Steve's signature already in the glove box.

I've since installed Mach 1 Grill Delete kit and Redline Tuning QuickLIFT Elite's.

Is the center exhaust now standard on S281 ?
I thought it only came with the S281e ?

The 2003 SA-20 & the 2004 S281 (all) have the center exhaust as standard.

I will have to correct President Mikey on this one.......all supercharged 2004 Saleens(except for the Saleen Cobra) come standard with the center exhaust and S351/E wing. All n/a cars still have the 3 piece wing and normal dual exhaust. When I asked why the cobra doesn't have the center exhaust since it is supercharged, Billy replied "but it's not a Saleen supercharger, rather Fords supercharger".......you learn something new everyday don't ya prez

The center exhaust is plumbed for a live-axle. Cobras have IRS.

Saleen won't do it, but it can be done, 03-13 a white Saleen Cobra Coupe has it installed. I have some pictures somewhere, I'll see if I can find them.
