If you will shoot me an email. I've got pics of my 06 pulling a custom built (by me) aluminum utility trailer. Bought the hitch & trailer light kit thru e.trailer.com I pulled this trailer on a 3000 mile trip to Colorado last June. ZERO problems, I've topped 110 mph with the trailer (I'm a truck driver, if you don't like the way I drive, get over in the "slow" lane ) MPG with the trailer is 1 mpg less. My email is baddad457@bellsouth.net

Post #9 above shows what it looks like with a hitch cover on it....If I remember right, mine is a Hidden Hitch, but I'll double-check that. I'll try to get a pic today of what it looks like without the cover. It's not really noticeable at all.

Given some of the attitudes you may get about putting a hitch on a stang, you may want to get this cover:

Here's a pic without the hitch cover....not sure if it's a Hidden Hitch or a Draw-Tite. I thought there was a sticker underneath, but it's just from the place that installed it. This is kneeling down looking at it straight-on. Standing behind the car, you don't really notice it.

I used the Hidden Hitch simply because it comes with the drawbar and trailer ball. Did the wiring with these two kits: 118151 and 118187.

Did any of you weld or just bolt on your hitch?

It's a completely bolt on affair. The hardest part is getting the mufflers bolted back in place. You have to unbolt and let them hang down to gain access to the frame rails above them. Wiring is pretty simple, only two small holes to drill in the trunk to mount the wiring module. The power supply wire can be run under the carpet and trunk mat to the front of the passenger compartment and then thru a gommeted hole (already there) in the firewall behind the battery.
