I was at the Ford Racing Innovation Test Drive today at Homestead motor speedway and somebody crashed a torch red GT into the wall. I will try to post pics later of the crash. What a horrible sight

I was on my way there but the person direving got lost. I don't know how you get lost on the Turnpike, but whatever. Was it raining down there? It was kinda crappy around the Broward/Dade line. Thankfully I wasn't in that mustang. Do you think they will be finacially responsible for it? That would suck.

Just great. As if the dealers didn't need more reason to not let us test drive them. BTW, please dont post those pics because a little bit of me dies whenever I see a smashed Stang.

I went to that event in Kentucky, it was a blast, but no one hit the wall at that one. I hoped into a black GT 5-speed and looked over at the race car driver in the passenger seat and to my surprise it was a beautiful young blonde, come to find out she is a professional race car driver, racing since she was 7. Wow! Thats all I have to say, yeah the mustang was nice too.

oh man ... That hurts just looking at those pics

My first Stang ( a black 1986 ) was totaled by some punk running a red light in a Monte Carlo. The whole front end was almost torn off. I was lucky to walk away.

I think that stang looks like it held up pretty well. I guess it depends on the speed and style of impact, but still. I think Fords are pretty safe!

This is why insurance rates are so high on the Mustang. Some drivers are not too smooth with real power regardless if it is the track or street.
