For the record I do have a '96 Explorer Sport w/ 5 speed right now and 95% of time I leave it on the rear wheel drive, even in snow when its not that slippery out. The one thing that concerns me is my parking. I park in a garage under my building and there is an incline down from street level. I just moved there and don't know how slippery that could get, but there might be the occasion that I couldn't get the stang out. I'll get the chance to scout it out all winter though, because if I do get the stang, it won't be until next fall at the earliest....gotta save up a little first.
