Sorry about the quality. Just picked up the July issue of Motor Trend and thought I would share. I dunno if I like them better than the 20's. Mixed bag. The 99-04 18" wheel and 94-98 18" are good looking wheels which everyone knows that the 99-04 wheels is a replica and probably outsells the real thing. I doubt seeing anyone anytime soon knocking off these 19's (even if you could get them right now) or the 20's. Hmmm.

Too bad, I'm not thrilled. They have that retro thing going on. That style looks rather generic, like it comes from some low end, oversees cast wheel company.

The wheels look way better that the 20". Why would you put "Dubs" on a Saleen. The 20" wheels have no lip or dish on them. From a distance you would think it was a FWD Saleen. I hate them. 20" is way to big and heavy. A Saleen or Mustang is not an Escalade, Impala, or Dodge 300.

I like the 19's better.

I also think they would look awesome on my xp8.

I'm a 5 star rim fan, the new 20's are nice, but little too much material for me.

Yea Dennis,

You hit the nail on the head. Looks like a cheap Discount Tire cast exclusive. Reminds me of 1970's Porsche alloys on a VW bug or Micro bus. Sorry, most of you young guys won't know what I'm talking about but some will.

That picture doesn't give the wheels any justice. You are right, though, not the topical Saleen five spoke wheel. But then again, neither is the 20" wheel. I would have to see the car in person with the 19" wheel before I made any assumptions. Like they say, assumption is the mother of all *uck ups!! (quote from Under Siege with Steven Siegal for those who don't recall ;-p )

Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in about fifteen years or more.

My first car was a ’64 VW Baja, btw.
