Hey Tom! Thanks a lot. Took the Service Manager for a drive the other day and he agrees. The noise is a bit too much to deal with so they were going to replace the rear end. It still may be the pinion gear but with this TSB, they may have other options now. Thanks again!

Hi I am having a axle whine on my o5 stang about 50 to 60mph. I am interested in seeing what the tsb has to say. My dealer says it has to do with the duels I had put on.

tell your dealer where he can stick it. how the HECK can exhaust make your axle whine? axle whine is cause by the internal components of the differential. tell them to run the TSBs on OASIS and look it up themselves. someone else here may also have them for your personal use, but the dealer has no excuse for not having the information which is clearly on oasis. my dealer tried to pull that back in may, but i showed a copy of the tsb to my service advisor, and he looked them up with me standing right there. the tech was too lazy to run oasis himself and tried to tell me the problems i was having were normal, or could not duplicate conditions..... you could always pm jenn and she could send you the pdf of the axle whine tsb. tell your dealer you expect better customer service, or you will take your business elsewhere.
