Anyonw know if the 60mm throttle body (from the new cobra) would fit on the mustang gt?

The intake on the 07 GT-500 doesn't look remotely similiar to the GT's 4.6L. I would think not but I'm not sure.

I just had a couple of looks at the TB on my '05. The Shelby 500 version shown in that picture definitely has a different exterior setup. The two little bosses over each throat are higher and the throttle plate motor control is set at a different angle than the '05 GT. The two top mounting bolts look to be about the same, but there may be some quirky differences that you can't see in the photo.

$215 sounds like a pretty good price for the thing. But, there's no telling if it would fit, or work. Also, would it give you any improvement? I would guess not.

It is kind of intersting that they went with a single tube strut-tower brace. That might be worth checking the price of as well.

well looking at ford's tech site, the wiring colors are the same and the operating voltages are the same for the throttle circiut.

It is a different mount then the GT.
I may be working with someone to make a mount adaptor to fit the 07 Shelby TB onto the 05-up GT though.
