2008 Mustang GT not cranking. Battery voltage is good. Alternator is good. I can jump the starter solenoid with the switch in the run position and the car starts and runs fine. But when I try and start the car with the switch I am not even getting a clicking noise. Like the starter isn't even activating at all. This is my daily driver and need to get it running ASAP. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance.

Check the positive cable from battery to starter solenoid for any loose connections or dirt/corrosion at the terminals.

If it starts from solenoid wouldn't that circumvent problems at cable?

It's possible that the programming in the ignition key could have gone bad and it isn't deactivating the PATS.

If the main key and the back up key don't work, the problem could be the ignition switch.
