I just got a 09 GT/CS and the door panel leather is peeling all the way off. I see this is not uncommon but haven't found any solutions. What type of adhesive will work with the leather and foam?

It's actually vinyl. At any rate, I've been told the method is to rub as much of the foam off the door panel as you can with your thumb, then use contact cement. I tried this method and it was fine until the first hot day, then the inserts fell off again.
Silicone works very well but doesn't hold the insert in place very well while it's curing, so it has a tendency to slip and not look as good when it's done.
