200amp alt fitment Question

Hey there i was wondering if the 200 amp alternators for like 2003 mustangs will fit an 87 mustang with the proper grinding of the braket, like will this one work for my 87

I'm pretty sure you'd have to grind, as well as change the connectors, and upgrade the charging cable.

oh okay so its the same as putting a 130 amp on. i wanst sure if the electronics were different for the new ones

Unless your car has a very large stereo or something along that line you don't need a 200.

A 130 will take care of most street cars.

But it seems like a good price and will bolt on just like the 130.
