2010 camaro

I keep up and post daily on corvetteforum.com, I can pull quite a few threads up with stock ls3 dynos. LG motorsports(390rwhp), MTI(395rwhp with 8 miles on the car), as well as other top shops have ALL proven the ls3 is an underated motor, and have publicly stated it. A few dyno's are in the low 400rhwp area bone stock. The tune on most ls3's is off quite a bit too.

my club vice prez's 05 makes 345 rwhp just like an ls-2.

Your club presidents car is making 345rwhp like and ls2 because it is an ls2. The ls3 didnt even start being produced until 08. as your last thread showed, the average hp through a chasis dyno on the cars is 444hp. Again, these cars show a very nice increase with a tune in bone stock trim, where as NA 2v and 4v's show little improvement in bone stock form. Also, the ls6 was 405hp for 85% of its production run. Only 01 saw 385, which was changed with a better cam, headers, valves, etc.

In the end, this motor is putting out 380-400rwhp, bone stock through the m6 tranny, 10-30rwhp more with just a tune. Exhaust, cold air, and a cam, ls3's are making 460-520rwhp. 550hp at the crank can get even a 3800-3900 pound car moving.
