I just installed the Ford handling package (new shocks, sway bars, springs and panhard) this weekend and immediately noticed a loud thumping coming from underneath the front end. It starts when I accelerate from a stop and creates a hell of a vibration in the front end. In turns or changing lanes, everything is fine. I triple checked all the bolts to be sure they were tightened down, so I'm pretty sure it's not any of the new components. My guess is that the undercarriage shield/panel wasn't fastened down tight enough when I put it back on, because that's what it sounds like. But the vibration it's creating seems too strong for this to be the cause.
