1987 Ford Mustang GT, 3rd owner (owned since 6/25/99 @ 92k miles); now has 130k miles. Less than 200 miles in the last 10 years, and probably less than 1,000 miles since 2010.

$29K in restoration and upgrades in 2024 (work performed by Innovative Restorations in Wallingford, CT); over $60k invested since 1999. Asking $26K or best reasonable offer.

Work performed this year: ignition cylinder, front/rear suspension overall including quad shocks and front struts, sway bar bushings, front suspension bushing and ball joints, alignment, reweld torque boxes and floorpan cracks and subframe connectors (*all undercarriage surface rust removed from structural components), rewire stereo and battery and cleanup misc other wiring throughout car including correcting bad grounds and installing proper fuse blocks, starter solenoid, battery, battery hold down, flush fuel system and replace fuel lines, fuel filter, replace all A/C components (valve core, compressor, accumulator, clutch coil connector) and convert to 134A, speedo cable and vehicle speed sensor, coolant bottle and flush cooling system, flush brake fluid, rear wheel cylinders, parking brake cable, transmission mount, differential cover gasket, head/fog light switch, Dakota Digital gauge cluster with proper wiring harness (not hack job), carpet with mass back, door panels, sun visors, floor mats, Ultra Clear Smoked head lights

I have a new grey headliner to match the current sunvisors, and black sunvisors to match the current headliner. I will include two large boxes of spare and/or stock parts, and an ashtray door repair kit.

The car is now structurally as good as new. I know of no other mechanical issues that need addressing. Cosmetics were next on my list, though the car is still great for being 34 years old. The ground effects were painted to match, from the original light grey, in 2001; the rest of the original paint is actually in great condition. There are expected normal wear-and-tear marks around the car. The hatch has had minor rust bubbling under the paint for 10+ years, and last year one dime-sized section popped open; structurally the hatch is fine, but is probably the first cosmetic area you want to address sometime.

Several interior panels were dyed in 2000 using VHT Satin Black Dye and Krylon Clear Coat. I had planned to reverse this process soon; it should be removable with commercially-available products.

Other notable modifications or work performed prior to 2024 (I have detailed, all-inclusive records available): aftermarket stereo including Pioneer DEH-445 Head Unit, Rockford Fosgate speakers, Alpine amp, Polk audio 10” sub, Flowmaster cat-back exhaust, MAC off-road H-pipe (have stock catted pipe), Removed air silencer, Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter, Steeda Subframe Connectors w/Cross-Brace Kit, 3.55:1 gears, 65mm FMS throttle body and spacer, Pro-M Bullet 75mm mass air meter and IST conversion harness and A9L computer, Saleen Pedal Covers, LX taillight covers, SS front brake lines, door and hatch weatherstripping, MAC water pump and crank underdrive pulleys, pop-up sunroof, in Maximum Motorsports strut tower brace, rack & pinion steering replaced new in 2004, Cervini Stalker front bumper cover (2002), 87 Mark VII calipers, SS front brake lines, Steeda SS Caliper Sleeves, Corbeau Targa RS front seats, new hatch carpet (2013), UPR King Kobra Clutch kit (2010), Forte’s Clutch Quadrant and Firewall Adjuster, hatch struts, Prothane bushings mostly all around,
