I have a 2012 GT with Brembo package and 3.73 gears. Tires are already needing replacement. Rears are 2/32 and fronts 5/32. Only 7K miles, car is less than a year old. Wow! Those Pirellis don't last long at all.

Is this to be expected? How are other people's tires holding up?

I have the same setup and just about to turn over 7k and my tires still have plenty of tread. Maybe it's a right foot issue?

I agree. Sounds like very aggressive driving and/or bad alignment/lack of rotation/maintenance. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE-11's on mine since 400 miles, and I have 14,000 on the car now and they are wearing great. All at 7/32. Came with 9/32 new. The RE-11's are considered an even more aggressive (extreme summer compared to Max summer)tire then the factory Pirelli's.

I got around 10-11k out of my rears and I probably should have replaced the fronts at the same time but I stretched them to around 16k. The summer P-zeros definitely don't last long, but 7K? You must be driving the balls off the car. Good for you That's how its meant to be driven.
