Why say it if you hate to say it? I don't do anything I hate. For example, I'm sure I'd hate to eat chit therefore I wont do it. Would you eat chit?

ford borrow the money period! not the grant they got.. I also thought that until i did some digging because i was a ford share holder. you have to look at dodge also as they were sold to an investment group also a first to use an american company name to get a bailout on their investment..sweet huh?

Who cares? It wasn't a union bailout package unlike the GM and Chrysler bailouts. Ford has weathered the recession made sound management/financial decisions and is a better, leaner, more competitive company. OTOH, GM will be in financial trouble again because they didn't deal with the unions when they had the chance. The company (GM) has been mismanaged for decades and made promises to the unions that cannot be kept, period.

you better care because it will change the car market in the near future as this my friend will be like the 80's all over when the car war will be over... ford is not out of trouble.. they have loans at the moment with not so favorable rates. the stocks are flat and thier china and Europe market is taking a dump like others.. I hope they turn it around because I'm still invested some but unless the job markets change who knows...I don't know about you but i'm not going to buy a truck or a mustang with eco-boost!

Meh, Ford will be fine. They've made good business decisions and are selling cars people actually like and want. This recession will be over soon if the economy is allowed to correct itself. Even if BO is reelected it will recover, though it will likely take longer.

They're generally right about bimmers though ... even a 25 year old 7 series will feel more solid and refined than most new cars... despite how much I hate most bummer owners, they are excellent cars

Both perform well, however one is ugly and overweight with a horrible interior and awful visibility produced by a mismanaged company that had to run to uncle Sam for help... which do you think I'd choose?

If I were in the market I'd choose the Boss though. 7500 rpm V8 = awesomeness

I don't know about all that N8...the Camaro gets the nod in the looks department and BOTH cars could stand to drop a few pounds. The Camaro really dose have horrible visibility and blind spots like a MF'er, but after a while you get used to it...you're just not gonna be zig-zagging too well.

I didn't read this whole thread. Why should I? It's the same chit over and over again when this topic is brought up.

So I'll say this and move on... If someone gave me ZL-1, I'd trade it in on a 2013 Shelby.

Both cars (ZL-1 and Shelby) are nice. It comes down to a person's preference.
