Why did Ford put a 2 piece shaft. Couldn't they come up with a better idea. I just got my car on February 14. I want to make this car unique.cause I love the convertible top. Any ideas.

Several different aluminum driveshafts made. The factory and the aluminum driveshafts have a slip joint in them. The factory slip joint is in the middle of the driveshaft and can separate when spinning at high speed. My Axle Exchange aluminum driveshaft has the slip joint near the rear of the shaft and less likely to separate
