2014 V6 So Quiet!?

Even my 05 V6 is much louder when you turn it on and run it, you can barely hear the start and when your cruising it’s so quiet. It’s only had 1 other owner. I’m newbie so idk how to fix this because I love the sound of mustangs. Is it the mufflers ?? Or what can I do to give my Stang that nice sound

In 2011 (maybe 2010 also) Ford started to add more 'sound deadening' to the Mustang, making the cabin quieter than past Mustangs. Lots of aftermarket axle back mufflers to pick from. Good luck and choose wisely

I was looking into that, would it be better to buy a cat back exhaust or just an axle back? From what I’ve been looking at cat back is more expensive but definitely the better choice
Any thoughts ?

Save your money and just buy some axlebacks. 'In my opinion', the dyno results of extra horsepower from catt back systems are just a sales gimmick and not true

I’ll definitly Look into axle backs due to cost thanks ! So cats backs, don’t they make it sound better then axle backs?

I put axle backs on my 2011 right after I bought it. I have Flowmaster Force II and love them. They were easy to put on too.
