my brother bought a 95 cobra almost new (with 20k miles) and his payments were $550 and insurance was $475, and he had a perfect driving record with his cdl licence. most insurance companies think ur a better driver with a cdl licence thats y i added that in.

I'm 22, but my car is insured under dads name. It still runs me 675 a year on an 01. If you're gonna get it under your name, it'll be upwards of $1200 a year.

Let me tell you about NJ. I'm 19, and just bought a brand new 03 Cobra. My NJ company quoted me at no freakin lie $8000+ a year for just insurance, CLEAN record. Hence, yeah your insurance is gonna be high unless you can go on someone elses policy.

I just got the numbers back from my provider (21st century)
GT: 1252/6 months
Cobra: 1500/6 months

this is for full coverage and i am getting a multi car discount and good driver discount with 21st century.

I'll be switching to a new provider probably next week, Allstate, Progressive, or maybe Wawanesa.

Yeah, I called back to the states and talked to an American Family agent, she told me it would be $200 a month by myself, or around $147 if under my parent's plan, not including the multiple car discount i would be getting. Thats not so bad, but 01svtbra, i would like to know who you get insurance from.

An s-load probably. Try and go with state farm and buy a clunker. Insure that as your primary vehicle with just liability. Then insure your mustang with full-cverage as your "pleasure" vehicle. You will save a ton of money.

I was paying $ 328 a month on my 98 gt. Once I bought a 98 Escort and made that my primary vehicle, my 98 gt pleasure vehilce only cost $ 86 month.
