Got the dash in more or less, with some pics of that later. Got the jambs re taped, now they are wax and degreased and scuffed. Compressor is up to air pressure, and the room is taped off and up to maybe 75-80 degrees. Going to eat some wings when they get here, and then down there to paint, tape, paint, and clear the jambs! All the pics from today will be posted later!

Don't eat the wings in the garage, the airborn grease of the wings might kill your painting!

Lol thanks guys, and dont worry wings were up stairs, then a good wash of the hands, then down for paint. Just finished laying clear. It is hard to tell as the pics do it NO justice, the lighting is all wrong for taking pics, but it came out really good for a first timer. The color and clear seemed to lay even, and other than a mishap with some tape, it came out really nice. I plan to wet sand the sections of the jambs that will be seen a lot after this all cures. Here are some shots, remember the jambs might not look it, but in real life they have that nice deep wet look!

Let me know what you think from the crappy pics!

4th from the last is probably the most accurate, the first few look HORRIBLE. I couldnt get a good shot with or without the flash in that area and the ones I did the shine gets washed out. I might grab some pics of it the day we bring it for body paint... For now this is how the car will sit for some of the week!

Yeah, I am going to finish the brakes this week then this weekend get the fluids in it, and get it back on the ground, doors and stuff hung, then off to paint next week!

Getting the wheels and tires in March, thinking about some 235/40/18s out front and 275/35/18s out back. Might go 245s, and 285s though!

Lets hope so, and the rims might be coming in soon...

as Im sure you all know, 18x9 and 18x10 deep dish Bullitts. The tires will come shortly after that, I am thinking 235/40/18s up front, and 275/35/18s out back. As far as what brand, Im between Kumho and Falken, but most likely Falkens!

Anthracite...

When you look at them with the Gold color (I have 17s on the car now) they almost appear grey. A lot of people thought they would clash but personally I think they will look alright. far enough away from being the same color to look good next to eachother. I will keep the 17s to mount some 26x11.5 ET Streets we have on for track duty, and I am even playing with the idea of taking some 17 Bullitts and narrowing them to make a bigs n little look with them? Might be unique!

wasn't a kit at all. saw a picture once of a door done similarly and brought that picture and the speakers to an upholstery shop on the berlin turnpike in CT. Ummm not sure on the name of the shop it was brian's(25thmustang) friends fathers shop so hell know the name and maybe post it when he sees this

The place is called Automotive Restyling, and they more or less do leather interior installs and cloth roofs or sunroofs. Me and Wolpert were going to do the doors ourselves, but both of us have too much to do to our cars to worry about detail work like that. Plus the pros would make it look better so we sent it to them. They had it done in a couple weeks and the result was great! When he throws them in with the Flofits and cleans the interior all up, it should look mint!

were TRYING to get CT in there with some nice cars,
