will that fit on a 04 GT stock rim... i know they are a 17x8" wheel... but will this hoss fit on there? the 245's on there now look like they are actually stretched on a bit like they are to skinny so i think that these 275's will work in back. if not then

A lot of people put 275s on the stock 17x8 rims. Many say Nittos are a little narrow so they fit better than other brands. I dunno. Nitto's website says the MINIMUM rim width for their 275 is a 9 inch rim. I'm not one to go against the manufacturer's specs. I got 17x9 rims for the rear axle and put 285 Nitto 555 EPs.

well they are tires that came off of a 03 cobra so they are the Eagle F1 GS and Tire Rack says minimum width is 8.5" but that is usually a conservative number.

It's too large a tire. It bows which actually reduces traction. Put 255/45-17's on there if you can. Toyo TR1's are a good choice.

i had 275 Kuhmos (they run narrow like Nittos) on my stock wheels and they bulged really bad. stability and handling were greatly affected. i was downright scared at 80 mph. the slightest crosswind would cause me to switch lanes. not good. but they fit

I have had BFG KDWS 275's on with no bulging or issues. I have seen some other brands on there and I can't say the same.
