so basically drive in 4th gear around 3k and see if cruising ther bothers you. then drive at 2700 or so see if that bothers you.
hwy gas milage will get worse as you step the gear up. so you will get worse milage with 4.10's.

the T-45 tops out in 4th at 102 w/ 4.10s. been there done that. its why i dont race at the strip anymore.hognutz said:that is because they will be faster. 4.10's are better for the quarter mile unless you can trap faster than 112 with stock limiter in place.
on the flip side though if you comute alot the milage hit may make you not like 4.10's or trap much over 112 you would not want 4.10's unless you raised the engies rpm band. then you would need to mess with your limiter or tire size so you don't have to shift to 5th in the 1/4 mile.
