Considering how high gasoline prices are right now I
would get FRPP 3.73's.

It's far from a myth seeing how the difference between 3.73's and
4.10's in performance isn't much. Also 2-3 mpg adds up each year
in saving if you don't like feeding the rich oil companys that are
gouging are pocket books.

Screw corporate america!
I wish america would get smart and boycott gasoline companys
for just one month and hit the rich oil companys where it hurts
in their wallets.

i dont understand why gas is such an issue with ppl who drive a V8 car... 2 mpg is NOT a big deal, if u think it is, you should proble not mod your car. gears are the best mod, save for a blower.

the reason my milage went down is because i drive on the highway 90% of the time going to and from school. when its just driving in the city i get great gm. but again i will never understand why ppl who mod worry about fuel.. kinda comes with the territory.

So... Why they have a mustang........Only bad thing with 4:10's
is you start making alot of HP you run out of gear for the 1/4 mile. I run against my rev lemiter in 4th. when I run thru the traps. But they are hard core street gears for sure
And the reason they get better mileage is the motor RPM is up where it makes some HP so you dont have to dog it or shift, its just hard to keep your foot out of it because it feels good to go through the gears so fast. ect.

well for me 2 mpg will be about $400.00 saving a year at $4.50 a gallon...

put another way, getting 2 mpg better 80% of the time means being able to use that much more gas the 20% of the you don't care about mileage...it doesn't matter if you have a V-8 or a 1.8 4cyl, saving some gas can't hurt...

i have 3.73's and it does the job jus fine. but, ive never driven a car with 4:10's, but, i dunno, id seem a lil hard on the car on the highways. however, if i ever get a 03/04 cobra, im definately throwin 4:10's in there.
