3.27 to 3.73 worth it? (Automatic)

We have a 2001 Mustang GT with the automatic. It's my wife car so that is why it's auto. Anyhow, would the 3.73 wake up this car a noticeable amount? not interested in a 4.10 gear and want to keep the engine stock.

just wondered others experiences.

Don't fear the gear.

But yes - a jump from a 3.27 to a 3.73 is noticeable. 4.10's a huge increase and a 3.90 a middle ground of the two. Especially in an auto where you need that low end grunt.

Gears are usually the best bang for your buck mod on a Mustang for seat of the pants feel besides maybe a nitrous kit lol
