I have serched and searched... and nothing i have a 88 mustang i installed 3.73:1 gears in my 8.8 rear with Ford racing gears. there is no pinion depth scribed into the pinion gear... we have the tool that goes across the diff housing and you bolt on with teh caps. we installed it just by using the wear pattern marks and measuring old pinon gear and shims and then the new pinion gear but it now humms when im decelerating. today we are taking it back apart to redo the pinion depth and hopefully find the correct depth if anyone know where to find it or knows it from experience please tell me im doing the job at 3ish...
