Hi everyone!
I'm new to this forum and new to Mustangs. I'm not new to working on cars though, I have a collection of vintage race cars from the 1930's through the 50's. Anyway, I just picked up a 98 Mustang with a 3.8 in it. The problem it has is a bent push rod. I haven't opened it up yet, but I'm thinking maybe a stuck valve worse case. I picked up a couple of used heads from another 3.8 Mustang not realizing that there are a couple of slightly different heads out there. The 94-95 heads and the 96-98 heads. Well the heads I got are from a 95. Does anyone have an opinion on whether I can use just one of these heads on my 98 or should I just buy a 98 head? I believe the difference is in the intake flow.
Thanks in advance - Papac
