Hi, I have a 1996 Mustang GT rated at 215 hp and was wondering if 300 hp would be obtainable with the following mods (I put my hp estimate next to the part):

PI Cylinder Heads: 30hp
PI Intake: 15hp
Street Cams (Unsure on which yet):10hp
K&N Generation II FIPK: 5hp
C&L Trueflow Intake Plenum: 5hp
Edelbrock 75mm Throttle Body: 5hp
BBK Longtube Header and H-Pipe System: 15hp
Flowmaster Cat-Back System: 5hp

That puts my horsepower estimate at 305 hp, would you say these gains are possible? Any help with the hp estimates would be appreciated. Let me know what you think.

I would go with ported heads. ported heads and cams will get you there.

vt stage II heads and wild cams.

I have a feeling you shopping list as it stands now will get you 280-285rwhp or so.

There are numerous threads from guys that have done h/c/i swaps onto the 2v. I think your best course of action is to do a search and elighten yourself on the subject a bit more

I got 320rwhp now and should dyno around 350 range in 2 weeks n/s...if you want help IM me or email me and I will show you how...and its not as easy as parts you listed...if ity was then there wouldnt be only a handful of n/a cars over 300 rwhp in the entire country.

Guys, he's not talking about RWHP. He's talking at the flywheel.

I think you'll hit it with those mods. 305 at the fly is what...260RWHP?

thats why i said he should educate himself a bit more. with the money he wants to spend, he might as well do it right the first time

thanks for the replies so far, I have been doing some searching on the forums and will let you know what I decide with. As Jackie Chan said I should do it right the first time I totally agree with him.

I agree Hog but,with a good dyno tune after the H/C/I
you may have a crack at the 300 hp range N/A! but,it's going to
cost you probaly more in the long run instead of just doing a power adder
and being done with it. What Jackie said "Do It Right The First Time"
