I was on edlebrock site and they say with heads and cam you get 300 HP is that at the flywheel or the wheels..

Flywheel....but it can be at the wheels. I know a lot of roller 5.0 engines with bolt on mods to stock short blocks that put right at 300HP to the wheels.....with fuel injection.

I think it is at the flywheel, because they got the numbers on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno.

While the numbers look good, they are usually running headers that you can't get into your chassis.

MMFF did a heads test on a 306 with a midrange cam and was able to get 300 hp with the stock heads and hooker headers. the afr 165's made 390. I think the edlebrock perfomer made 375 or so I wouldn't think the 306 would make that big a diff.

They rate at the fw.
There are way too many variables to tell someone what they would get at the wheels.
One thing you might not know about Edelbrock is that they don't make alot of parts with their label. The cams are made by TRW.
You can get the same grinds through them cheaper. Even better, TRW sells the same grinds to Summit racing and they sell them dirt cheap.
IMO though, the cams are not what they hype them to be. Same with the carbs they sell for Federal Mogul.
