ok i read that some where in these post that you can take a 302 block and swap a 347 block into the bottom half with out changein a single thing.
how would this be done. and if so where can i find one that is cheap so i can do the swap.

You reuse your block with and overvore. The crankshaft has longer throws on it. The rods and pistons are shorter to fit into the same space. This increases the stroke and therefore displacement of the engine. Kits can be bought to do this or you could opt for one already built( a shortblock).

I got me one of dem there stroker thingies :)

Run real well too.
Damn, 2bav8, you're not a coon-ass are you? :D Sure sound like one there. Got me one dem 331 strokers dere too, ya. :D ----------------------------And mustangdave, the rods in a 331-347 are longer, not shorter. I'f they were shorter, the pistons would hit the crank counterweights at BDC.
