I am about to order a set of 315's for the rear of my 2001 gt. Every time i call up a distributor they say it might be a tight fit. Do you guys have 315's and how is the drive with them on?

They will fit might rub the quad shock. I don't think 315 will fit on your stock mustang wheels. I think the least width size you can go with a 315 is x9.

I have a set of 315s on 10.5 inch rims. They wouldn't fit with the quad shock, but I have LCAs so no problem there. They also come close to the exhaust if it's pulled too far forward.

315 Nittos will fit on 9 inch rims, but I wouldn't go with any other brand unless you have a wider rim.

That is what I had to do.

I have 315/35/17's on a 10.5 wheel with no interference at all. My car has Mac lowering springs also. There's tons of people on this site with this exact combo with no interferences. In some cases it does matter, depending on the back spacing of your wheel.
