is it possable to get 500 rwhp from a 347?if so what companys short block should i go with? heads are ported afr 185s and a custom cam motion cam with gt-40 upper and lower,30lbs injectors and upgraded fuel sys.
It would have to be pretty radical for 500rwhp your heads, intake and injectors wont even get you close. It with out doubt would have to be a race gas motor and spun upwards of 8000rpm, and aftermarket block.
u would need a high compression motor to see 500rwhp on a NA 347 stroker and better parts than u have listed. 400rwhp is attainable on 10.7:1CR and ur combo above with the right lift and duration cam.
My 11.1 comp. 364 makes about that (500 hp) its a 347 with a 4.125 bore. (364) I have a set of afr 205 and spin it to 7,600+. If you want N/A 500 rwhp go with a 351 based motor a nice 408 could pump out that power. RNH PER. did one he// of a nice motor for me have about 75 n/a pass on it this year running 10.70-10.90 and about 25 150 shot passes with some mid 9 out of it
It would have to be an unstreetable compression ratio and some high-revving to get 500 RWHP out of one. It isn't impossible, but not very realistic for a daily driver, or better yet, street car.
