I currently have a older built 347 stroker in a '82. This weekend I blew out my head gaskets. Noticed that there is another thread on head gaskets but I thought that I would get everyones thought anyway. The motor has ported e7 heads. I believe the cam in a e303 or f303, I can find out for sure. The car does have a 175 shot of nos. Heads are at the machine shop right now having about .010-.020 mill off. The deck is within spec. SO, my question is with more being milled off the heads, having nos, what type of head gasket should I be running? I was going to get a set of fel-pro LocWires. The old head gaskets where fel-pro permatorque MLS series. Thanks for the help-

ok, i'll give the head gaskets a whirl, but I should mentioned this, i'm running arp head studs. They are older... but i think they should be ok. Should I replace them anyway for a little more insurance?

I have run the same head studs for a long time aswell, although all my motors ar N/A no boost or power adder. Thin decks and only 10 headbolts are the killers on the 302. Its up to you but more than likely not needed.

You should really look into why you are blowing the head gaskets. Is your fuel system up to par for the nitrous? If you put a head gasket on that doesn't blow when your tune is off, something else will.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
