347 or 351????

I am starting with an 89 coupe 4 banger and converting it to a strip/ street car mainly a strip car. Which motor should I run a 347 or 351. I plan on runnin a blower or centrifugal not to long after the build. I guess CHP is a good company to go with. ANY THOUGHTS?????

If modded equally the 347 is going to walk all over the standard 351

If I had the choice to start with i would start with the 351w because you can grow. The 347 is already at the top of its game.

The 351 hardware is all a size up from the 302 based motor, and the block is a lot stronger. I personally chose a 351W instead of a stroker 302 and am happy that I did.
