347 Stroker questions

Ok, Im a noob to stangs and domestic engines in general. What exactly is a stroker engine? I saw something on ebay called a 347 stroker kit for a 302. Will that turn a standard 302 into a 347 stroker? What would the stock HP be with that kit on if it does turn it into a 347?

A motor modified to allow longer piston travel by re-positioning of the piston rod on the crank Yes that will turn a 302 into a 347. Block needs work to make this happen also.
