i believe the L shaped one goes to your temp sensor on top of the intake, and the othewr 3 to the back of your alt., the big red one screws on and the other 2 push on, they are color coded on the back of the alt.

so just dont use it..or cut the plug and tape everything up for a cleaner look. also verify that plug IS in fact the temp sensor wire, if there is another one just like it then it could be your oil pressure wire, etc..

Check the wire color and the stripe on the wire. There are 3 possiblites:
Temp sender
Oli pressure sender
Starter solenoid to ignition switch control (turns the solenoid on to power the starter when you turn the key to Start)

Use the link to the Autozone wiring diagrams and check the 3 circuits mentioned for wire colors. When you find a match for the base color and tracer stripe from the 3 choices, you will know what the wire does.

that L shaped red wire goes to your starter solenoid the origional solenoids only had 3 posts 2 big ones and one small one a replacement will probly have 4 posts two big and 2 small the 2 small post should be labeled one with an I and the other with an S that wire plugs onto the one Labeled With an S hope this helps
