4.10s in an AUTO?

Still adjusting to my new 4:10's that were installed on friday. I brought her home and installed a diablo tune, JLT intake, and SLP Loudmouth II. I took her out sunday evening and ran her for about a 1/4 three times. Each time I took off kind of strong but smooth as to not torque the new rear end too much. But when she shifts into second she lights them up. The shifting on daily driving does seem quick, but you are hitting rpm quick, at full throttle it feels real right. With the stock set up second felt like the seat trying to slip out from under you, with this setup it feels like a ball bat behind my seat. Also the diablo transmision adjustments help get your auto into gear hard and fast. As for the 4:10's, I am still adjusting to the gas guage moving. Although I have noticed it moves much slower at operating temp. Which seems to me, the gas milage with a cold motor might be the combination of the JLT CAI, and the tune?

Well they are in, and wow nice feel upon take off. I was charged pretty hefty ($432) and they told me they couldnt adjust the speedo because they didnt have flash capabilities. Now i run about 15 mph off or so.
Anyhow, definitely need to get something done with the shifting now as it is in 3rd gear at 18mph at normal cruising. At wot, the shifts are pretty soft except 3rd to 4th. So my question is, with a tuner can any of this be adjusted or must i take it to the tranny shop for the $300 shift firmer process?
Can the tuner also fix the speedo?

Get your self an Xcal 3, Tranny cooler and you also should have the J-mod done.

You might want to limit the number of WOT 3-4 shifts you do. Fourth gear in the 4R70W is meant for highway cruising / fuel economy, and is not nearly as strong as the rest of the transmission.

So these tuners will fix my speedo? The tranny shop that put the gears in offered a shift firmer for 300, I wonder if they are talking about the Jmod you speak of. Will have to check that out.
