Can cylinder heads be removed while engine is still in vehicle?
Just reviewed Ford service manual, first instruction is to remove engine from vehicle, has anyone performed this without engine removal, if so any tips would be appreciated.

I changed the passenger side head on mine without pulling the engine. I had room to work. I think the drivers side does too. Getting the exhaust manifold off was a PAIN, you have to pull the motor mount bracket off to get to the bottom bolts on the manifold. That was the only hard part.
