4.6 rebuild. install

i rebuilt a 4.6 for my stang i have lost one of the three pins that is in the stock flywheel. do i need the third one or not

I'd try to get it. Try a transmission shop...they should be able to give you a dowel for a buck or less.

Although two is probably okay, it's designed for three. Without it there's an increased risk of nasty vibration.

replacing it now is a LOT easier than replacing it later
