I have a 96 4.6 GT with a 5-speed the motor was running fine and then just shut down, since then I have pulled it home. I can get the crank to turn about half a turn and then it locks up I was thinking hydrolock so I pulled all the plugs and everything is dry. I'm at the end of my road what else could be an issue with this. Thank you in advance any and all advice

I suspect that if you were to pull the front timing cover you will find one or more broken timing chain guides. When this happened to one of my motors the broken piece of the guide wedged itself between the chain and the sprocket thus locking the motor up.

The other possibility is a broken roller follower that has wedged between the cam. Removing the valve cover to trouble shoot.
