it is a chassisworks universal billet 4 bar kit that I adaapted to fit the mustang. It is similar to the TCP 4 bar but i was able to put the lower control arms inside the frame rail so I can mini tub it later.

Nice work so far. Looks like you'll pick up a ton of tire room!

It even looks like you'll be able to keep the back seat, no?

so far it looks like I will be able to fit a 275/50/15 with room to spare while still being able to keep the fold down seat and the interior panels intack. It is just going to take a little creativeness to get the lower part of the rear seat to fit here is a pic from the inside.

Finally got some more work done on the rear suspension today. Was able to get all the brakets welded on the housing and the rear shock crossmember up in place. Now all I have to do is start welding it all together and get my wheels and tires mounted.
here are some more pics

Thanks

The plan for the car is to be a all around car but more set up for drag racing than anything. Im going to put in a cage and I have already put mustang II up front. It should be a pretty good street car as well.

Wheel and tire mocked up

Today I was able to get the wheel tub cut out and the wheel and tire mocked up in there. Looks like with a little trimming it will go in with out a fight and ill be able to run the car with a low ride hight. The rear tire is a 275/50/15 on a 8 inch rim.

hopefully soon i will be able to ge the other side cut out and measure for axel width

I can't even begin to tell you how much I agree! It's nice to actually see some tire by using the 15 inch wheels!

Subframe conectors done and rear end finished

Got the sub frame connectors done over the weekend. Decided to run them all the way up to the front frame rail. Also finsished the rear end housing. Just a matter of time before the car can come off the jig and start doing sheet metal.

here are some new pics

thanks for all the interest

Are you going to add a crossmember to help support the lower arm mounts?
