I would say it depends on several things. Weight of the car, type of 5 speed, purpose of the car(street or strip), what rpm you shift at,..etc...
My old DSS 331 (10.5:1, AFM N-91 cam, AFM stage 3 TW'S, parker funnel web,AED 850ho carb,etc...)ran great on the street and strip with 4.56's and a tko 500 tranny. I would shift the car between 6,800 and 7,400 rpms.
Guess it's all in what you want your car to do. It's hard to make a gear suggestion without knowing more about your car.

With 4.10's and a t5 or tko you should be able to run 60mph and only be taching around 2,300-2,400 rpm's depending on your rear tire size. That's not much rpms so I would leave the 4.10's in the car.
