Will the stock amps (one each side) on the 460 system support two 10" aftermarket subs (one each side) with the factory rears removed/disconnected ??

Probably not because the information that I've seen showed the amps only putting out 43.5 watts rms per channel. I think the stock speakers are 6ohms, so I don't know how you would wire everything up.

That's what I thought. I knew about the ohms but didn't know just how much power each amp put out. By the way is the black plastic object between the two amps under the rear deck an air box? or is it just taking up space in my car?

I wonder if those amps would stay stable at 3 or even 2 ohms? Then, you could possibly get 90-100 watts per side out of it. But, I seriously doubt the amps would last very long.

I actually had a pair of the old school CV XL10s in my 95 running off the stock amps. Worked rather well as a matter of fact. Of course the CVs are super efficient and the vented enclosure just added upon that. Not rock pounding bass, but a decent blend. My only complaints are the crossover point and slopes on the stock Mach system. Good for the small factory drivers, but too high for subbass. Lends to a sloppy sub. You can forget about headroom when turning it up as well.
