Is the Throttle cable the same between the 4cyl and the 302?? Also, could somebody do me a HUGE favor and snap a pic of how it is ran behind the motor and hooked to the throttle body? I would greatly appreciate it. IIRC from when I tore the 302 out of the donor, there was a throttle bracket that bolted to the egr spacer..... it had dissapeared since that day and was wonderin if anybody sells it like American Muscle or LMR. Thanks for any help guys!

Mine just comes out the firewall, runs behind the intake along the firewall, and attaches to the bracket and clips to the bottom of the throttle body.

I finally got it disconnected from the gas pedal, and then I unbolted it from the engine compartment, but now it won't pull out!! I felt up in there and it feels like some kind of plastic retainer on the inside of the firewall?? does anybody know how to get this dang thing off? I'm ready to start the motor, but can't until I get this throttle cable in and the steering column installed!! Please help!

There is a retainer plate on the inside, just pull it down and it will slide out.
