Where would I go about finding parts to rebuild my tranny to with stand mega abuse?
Also I just got my may 05 issue of 5.0 mustang and super fords and on pg.32 there is a new product form B&M called the TFC system(Transmission Fluid Consistancy system). It sounds pretty good to me. Basically the system allows four more quarts of fluid to be added through the use of a CNC-machined aluminum canister. It says, that with the canister, the trans benefits from the extra four quarts with almost 500ci of internal and external radiant heat dissipation cooling surface area. It has more info at www.bmracing.com
I was just wondering if you still need a tranny cooler if you had one of these, or if we could benefit from using that and a cooler. I think it is something worth checking into.

I can't find anything about it yet on their website, but they do have good trans kits but none for 4R70W.

99+ 4R70Ws are pretty stout.

Most people install a big (B&M) trans cooler after the radiator cooler. If youare worried about wearing out your friction material the J-Mod shift kit should help. Also change your trans fluid often (10-15K miles) if you have a lead foot.

Why not just install a large tranny cooler inline with the radiators cooler..
Basically do the same thing as this B&M deal.
