5.0 C-4 hookup

Will a c4 converter bolt up to a 86 5.0 flywheel?
I want to build a roller motor for my Dads 82 Capri and I know the balance is
diffrent so I know I need to keep the flywheel on it. I have a AOD tranny also
would it be hard to just put it in?

I have not done it, but when I checked my AOD converter to the flexplate from my 82 that came with a C4, etc, it all seemed to fit. Note that I have early balance stuff, etc.

OK, so the flywheel in the 86 is an auto with an AOD? If so then yes it will bolt up.

yes, The motor is currently bolted to a AOD. I was hoping I could just bolt it to the C4.
